- Ensure cloud services operate smoothly and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed
- Ensure systems are always available and have high recovery capabilities
- Develop and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Ensure compliance with security standards and legal regulations
- Create and maintain operational process documentation
- Plan and manage cloud system expansion and upgrade projects
- Coordinate projects across technical and business departments
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion
- Manage and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Forecast resource needs and plan appropriate expansions
- Monitor and manage the budget for cloud operations
- Manage and guide the cloud operations technical team
- Evaluate team performance and develop employees’ skills
- Set goals and KPIs for the operations team
- Generate reports on service performance and operational activities
- Analyze operational data to propose improvements
- Assess and report on risks related to cloud operations
- Ensure incident handling processes are executed promptly and effectively
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex issues
- Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure system availability
- Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technology Management, or related fields
- More than 6 years of experience in managing cloud operations or related roles, including at least 2 years in a managerial position
- Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of system monitoring and management tools (Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, and Freshdesk
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and rapidly changing environment
- Data analysis skills and data-driven decision-making
- Nice to have:
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Experience working in a cloud service provider environment or large data centers
- Experience with project management methodologies like Agile, and Scrum
- Experience managing budgets and forecasting resources effectively
